Each year The LBW Trust’s events expand our community, fostering connection and inspiration, while raising crucial funds for educational opportunities in developing countries and underfunded Australian country libraries.

How T10 NYBC Works

T10 National Backyard Cricket is a fun and inclusive cricket tournament being hosted in 2026 played at Bon Andrews Oval.

Team entry: $10,000 tax deductible donation

  • Teams of 8-10 players ideal (no cricket experience required!)
  • Attendance includes lunch, snacks, beverages and spot prizes

 

National Backyard Cricket supports The LBW Trust. Our fundraising efforts provide crucial support to libraries in rural Australia and tertiary education initiatives in countries like India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Kenya, South Africa and Indonesia.

Participating in T10 NBYC helps raise vital funds to expand our impact while enjoying a fun game of backyard cricket against teams from like-minded businesses.

On the Day

  • 12:30pm Player arrival
  • 12:45pm Team briefing (Backyard Cricket Rules; tennis ball, no protective equipment, small fields)
  • 1:00pm Matches commence
  • 4:00pm Final placing matches
  • 4:45pm Awards

 

Non-playing guests are very welcome to attend and watch. The fun doesn’t just stay on the pitch!
